Becoming a Beachbody Coach
It’s kind of funny–my decision to become a Beachbody coach had nothing to do with financial freedom…I didn’t even really understand what the whole ‘coaching’ thing was! I became a Beachbody coach solely for the 25% discount on Shakeology and other fitness programs. I thought, hey, I love the products and I’m going to use them, might as well get a discount, right? Little did I know that my decision would change the course of my life!
I decided to go to Coach Summit a few months after I became a coach, because it was going to be in Los Angeles and I thought it would be fun! Going to Coach Summit was life changing–I was surrounded by 3,000 other Beachbody coaches, I got to learn how to work the business, and I got to see some of the incredible success that some of the coaches were having. I got to see 10 coaches inducted into the ‘millionaire club’ at Beachbody…just from sharing the amazing gift of health with others! When I got back, I knew I had to do SOMETHING about this business!
Fast forward a year later…I am now a Diamond coach, which doesn’t really mean a whole lot, it just means that I get to help others not only with their weight loss, but also with their finances. Treating this business like a business has saved my family from some financial struggles, as my husband lost his job in March. If I didn’t become a Beachbody coach, we wouldn’t have been able to pay our rent!
This business honestly seems too good to be true at times. I get to stay at home, work in my sweats, help people (I’m finishing my masters in social work…so I love helping people!) have accountability to stay in shape, get to workout with some of the coolest trainers in the world, and I get paid for it? I can be on vacation and still get paid! My husband and I went to Cabo for our honeymoon–it was AMAZING! I honestly didn’t work at all the week we were there, and I ended up getting one of my biggest paychecks to date. How? This business is structured so that you get residual income, meaning I can work really hard for a couple of years, and continue to get paid even if I stop working. If you decide to take a vacation in corporate America do you think you’ll still get paid??
