I just got back from our annual leadership retreat with Beachbody in Coronado, California, and WOW. This trip was seriously AMAZING. Beachbody’s leadership retreat is only for the top .05% of coaches in the company, so there were only about 200 of us who qualified, out of over 300,000 coaches.

They treat us WELL. I met my friend and Success Partner, Megan when we arrived to the hotel. We checked into our room, and we each got a room overlooking the ocean at Loews Coronado Resort. The resort is GORGEOUS. Right on the water. I’ve never been to San Diego before, but I can’t wait to go back at next year’s retreat!

After we got checked in, we headed down for our welcome reception on the pavillion, where we got to hang out with the CEO and corporate, have delicious food, and drinks were also provided (I skipped the drinks since I’m still healing from adrenal fatigue and leaky gut).

The night was amazing, and I was super excited for the weekend =)
Friday we woke up and headed down to work out with Autumn Calabrease and Sagi Kalev to try out the new program, Master’s Hammer and Chisel which will be coming out in December.

All I have to say about that is WOAH. I still have a hard time walking lol, it’s super intense!
The workout was fun, and after we showered, ate the delicious provided breakfast of Shakeology, oatmeal, and fruit (they had a TON of options for everyone =)), and went to our first general session. At this session, we learned about new product launches that will be coming to the network over the next year, like Cafe Late Shakeology (YES!) and 22 Minute Hard Corps, a new program by Tony Horton.

They provided lunch for us, all recipes from Autumn Calabrese’s new cookbook Fixate! I loved the quinoa and black bean salad =)
Then, we walked to the beach for some team building exercises! They divided us up into teams of 10, and we had different challenges to do on the beach, like human pyramids, running into the water carrying someone in a boat, and other fun stuff. It was AWESOME. Our team came in 2nd place, and we won a boogie board!

That night was supposed to be a night on the town, they had shuttles to take everyone to downtown Coronado, but Megan and I decided to be super lazy and hang out in our sweats, watch Sex and the City reruns and order room service =)
Saturday morning we had a workout with Beachbody’s new trainers, Jericho and Joel. I LOVE these guys. They are super nice, and their workouts are awesome. They used to work with Les Mills and teach Body Combat, Pump, and other formats, but they signed a contract with Beachbody recently and will be coming up with new programs for us! I was still SO sore from Thursday’s workout (I think adrenal fatigue has made it harder for my muscles to recover from tough workouts, because it’s Monday and I’m STILL hurting!) so I decided to Periscope the workout so my team could watch what is to come =) It looked AMAZING =) Can’t wait for their new program!!!

After the workout we went to breakfast, where they provided shakeology and a full buffet for us.

Saturday morning and afternoon we had another general session, with coaches sharing their struggles and tips to move forward. My favorite thing about these sessions is how HONEST the top coaches were about what they were struggling with, so I felt like I wasn’t alone =) We learned a lot of great stuff to bring back home to our coaches and train them.
Saturday night was an Arabian Nights party, but I am a serious introvert and had about my capacity of social engagement by that time haha, so Megan and I headed down for some free food, then came back up and strategized what we will bring home to our coaches and implement first to help them grow =)

Then I flew home Sunday! Leadership was AMAZING. It’s like corporate knew EXACTLY what I needed, and it was more of a refreshing retreat than a crazy seminar experience. They paid attention to every little detail and really made us feel special and valued. Being a part of this company is a HUGE blessing. To think, it all started with seeing that P90X infomercial on TV a few years ago, and has now turned into a 6 figure business, where I can help others, make an impact, earn free vacations, and live life on MY terms. I am forever grateful to Carl Daikeler, the CEO for his vision for Team Beachbody, and I will always pay it forward and help others achieve the same level of success as us leaders, and move BEYOND us. That is always my goal. I want my coaches to surpass me. I want to see THEM live free. I want THEM to be in the Millionaire’s Club. I want THEM to fire their bosses and live life on their terms.

And I know they will =) They already are =)
I’m hosting a 5 day sneak peek into coaching group that starts TODAY, if you want to join and learn a little more about what we do as coaches, and to see if you’ll be a good fit for our team and our mission, email me =) clientcare@fitwithrachel.com
