Through what can only be described as divine intervention, I got to go to Kenya for 6 months and my life was changed FOREVER.

I came home a totally different person, with an itch to do more and go back. I moved to Senegal (West Africa) when I graduated, and that’s where I met my hubby!

I wasn’t sure what I was going to go for a career, so we came back to the states so I could get my Masters in Social Work.

I still had that burning desire to do something in Africa, but to be honest the thought of starting a nonprofit and raising money stressed me out!

I realized that I’m good at BUSINESS, and instead of creating a nonprofit organization, I can use my biz skills and create a FOR PURPOSE organization.

And that’s why I decided to create Purpose 29!

I am partnering with orphanages in Senegal, using my platform and biz skills to create CHANGE.

Man, God sure does have a crazy way of making things happen. Crazy blessed and excited for the future!

Since I’ve posted about this on social media, I’ve had a LOT of people messaging me saying that they wanted to get involved in some way.
