Our Trip to Switzerland!

We decided to head on over to Switzerland for a night…pourquoi pas? 

When I was pregnant with TJ, I joined a Facebook group with other moms who were due in May 2013. A lot of us became super close, and one of them lives in Switzerland and invited me and TJ to spend the night. Sounds crazy, lol, but it was awesome! 

The drive was AMAZING….I seriously wanted to pull over just to take pics! But I’m not used to driving in the mountains so I was super focused on the road…and not driving off a cliff, ha!

My friend lives right on Lake Geneva, and has an amazing view and a sweet pool! The boys swam for a few hours, then we ate an incredible dinner, drank champagne, and passed out. 

On Friday, we went to a spot on the lake where they have paddle boat yoga classes. This was AMAZING. Seriously one of the COOLEST experiences ever!!! 

It was TOUGH–I made this short video on Facebook right after with a lesson I had with the session =) 

 

 

After our session, we drove to a little village that was SUPER cute. We went to a little restaurant and got fondue! Switzerland is known for it’s cheese and chocolate–so I def wanted to try some while I was there =)

I’ve never had fondue before! It was awesome–but one of those things you enjoy in moderation 😉 

We walked around the village, went to a park on the beach for the boys to play, then headed back home! 

Switzerland is GORGEOUS….but, to be honest, it was super comforting to see the rolling hills in the countryside of France where we live! I totally wanna go back and visit again though =)
