I wanted to give a shoutout to a coach on my team, Lauren Watters! 

Lauren Watters joined  us as a coach to get in shape and earn some cash so she could be a stay at home mama. She got started with 21 Day Fix, and got AMAZING results in 21 days!

This is her story: 

As ashamed of my story as I am..I am ready to share this journey with you all.

My whole life I’ve been naturally skinny. I could eat whatever I wanted, when I wanted and not workout.. without gaining a pound. Soooo me being ME, took that bad habit with me during my pregnancy. Welp… long story short I gained 75 lbs during my pregnancy.. once all was said and done and the water/baby weight diappeared… I was 45lbs over my prepregnancy weight.

“WAIT IT OUT” they said
“IT’LL MELT OFF” they said
“BREASTFEEDING DOES WONDERS”

NOT always the case.

Throughout the first year of my son’s life I did workout here and there. But never stuck to anything, never had the motivation.. I’m not going to lie, back in may I signed up for 6 months of personal training..mind you it was about $2300 total (yes you read that right. WHAT was I thinking). And let me tell you something. IT SUCKED. I was on my trainers schedule, rushed or cancelled sessions due to her personal life. I felt like I was cheated!! And I WAS!! in those 6 months I lost 2 lbs and saw no change in my body.

I stalked my NOW coaches page for months, and told her no on multiple occasions when she asked me to sign up.. for what you ask? I was sooo sketchy about beachbody. “There’s no way results like that can be achieved at home”, “they are just a scam and want the money”… OH MY GOODNESS HOW I HAD IT ALL WRONG. and kick myself in the butt everyday that I hadnt started sooner!!

I got better results in 21 days than I did in the 6 months of personal training. Not only that, but I also got more support from my accountability group, and coach than I did from the personal trainer.. and I wasn’t even paying them!

I will forever be grateful for this opportunity my coach gave me. Not only was I able to lose my weight(and still losing more everyday). I now get to help others who are struggling and don’t know where to start. This company stands by their word. I’ve never met a more supportive group of people, and am so excited to be a part of it now.

My goal now is to give women (or men) the same confidence I feel now when I look into the mirrorand to those of you that stood by me through it all and supported me each step. THANK YOU will never be enough =)

 

Those numbers on the scale? They are literally just numbers and should have no other meaning to you. Believe it or not. I am only 6lbs lighter in the photo on the right.
