So I just got back from vacation, yay! Cancun was AMAZING…it was such a blast to hang out with so many other coaches, and it was so cool to be able to bring my hubby on this trip!

It was his first Beachbody trip, and he was BLOWN AWAY by how well we were treated and how nice the place was. Every year, Beachbody rewards the top coaches in the company by taking them on an all inclusive vacation. Thanks, Beachbody!!

Yes, it was an all inclusive resort, and let’s just say that I took advantage, haha. I haven’t weighed myself yet, but I am for sure BLOATED (if you didn’t see the pic on Facebook, omg!) and I just feel heavy, so I’m going to be strict with my nutrition for a bit.

We leave for vacation again in 9 days, this time for two weeks! At least this time it’s not all inclusive lol. I will be MUCH more careful with my nutrition on this trip.

Anyways, I had a lot of people ask me about detoxing, and what I’m going to do to shed the vacation bloat now that I’m home!

I’d be more than happy to share with you =)

how to detox after a vacation

Step 1: Do the 3 Day Refresh! This thing is money, it works incredibly well, and my favorite part is that you’re never hungry, and you actually get to eat =)

Step 2: Follow a nutrition plan close to 21 Day Fix Extreme’s countdown to competition. What is that? Well, I won’t drink ANY alcohol (I’ve had my fair share for awhile lol), no dairy, and very little gluten. I will focus on lean protein and veggies, so it’s pretty low carb.

A sample day looks something like this (NOTE: I’m doing intermittent fasting now, so I workout at 7, eat breakfast after 10, and I’m done eating by 6pm.

Breakfast: 3 eggs,  1 scoop shakeology, 1/2 cup almond milk

Lunch: 6 links chicken apple sausage, 1 cup veggies, 1 tsp coconut oil

Snack: 1 scoop shakeology, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 tsp peanut butter, maybe some more protein if I’m feeling hungry

Dinner: 100 g avocado, 6 oz salmon, 1 cup veggies

Is this boring? Maybe, but I  HATE feeling bloated and to me, it’s worth it to tighten up my nutrition for a bit so I can feel great =)

Do you need help with your nutrition? Are you feeling a little ‘icky’ like me and need some support to help you start feeling better? Maybe your pants are getting a little snug and you want to feel GOOD in them again? Just email clientcare@fitwithrachel.com.  I’m accepting applications for my next 21 day weight loss support group and I’d be happy to help =)

UPDATE: 3 days post vacation, and I’ve lost most of the bloat =)
