
I know that a LOT of people end up gaining weight when traveling, BUT if you follow some of these tips, you might even lose a few pounds =)
5 Tips to Stay Healthy on Vacation
Tip 1: Bring snacks! I always pack healthy snacks when I travel so that I don’t have to pay a ton of money at the airport for junk that won’t help me reach my goals. I’ll pack hard boiled eggs, a pb sandwich, Lara bars, and shakeology packets.
Tip 2: Wear comfy clothes! If you wear comfy clothes, you’ll be more likely to move your body. I’m alllllways in my workout clothes haha so I try to get in some laps at the airport when I get there too early (which I always do. Because I’m type A like that).
Tip 3: Pack for your workouts! I bring a few resistance bands with me, and also my laptop so I can get in my Beachbody on Demand workouts from anywhere! This morning I did Hammer and Chisel and it was great to get my body moving after that long flight!
Tip 4: Drink a TON of water!!! You get seriously dehydrated when you travel, so be sure you bring a few empty bottles with you that you can fill up after you go through security (save money, live better ;)).
Tip 5: Enjoy yourself, in moderation! Whenever I’m in a new culture or a new place, I like to try the food! I had a DELICIOUS croissant at breakfast, and you better believe I enjoyed every bite of that bad boy =)
