Chocolate Oatmeal Recipe

I’m on a healthy recipe kick! Today I REALLY wanted some brownies…pregnancy cravings =) I decided to make this instead and oooooooo boy is it GOOD! If you’re a fan of chocolate (and who isn’t, seriously!) you’ve gotta give this one a try =)

 

Chocolate Oatmeal

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup oats
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 2 tbs dark cacao (can substitute chocolate shakeology and omit cacao and sugar)
  4. 1 banana
  5. 1-2 tbs natural peanut butter
  6. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  7. sweetener, to taste (I used a couple drops of liquid stevia)
  8. 2 tbs shredded coconut
  9. pinch of salt
  10. Optional: chocolate protein powder
Instructions
  1. Cook oats according to instructions on the package.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
  3. Enjoy!
