It sounds weird, right? In order to lose weight, you’ve gotta eat! 

 

A LOT of people think that the less food they eat, the faster they’ll lose weight–which is true–to a certain extent. If you cut your calories TOO low–your body will actually stop losing weight and hold on to every little bit of food you give it–it goes into starvation mode. You’ don’t want to go there! 

 

Your metabolism will slow down and you’ll be hungry! All for nothing!

 

It’s a balance. Eat when you’re hungry–and make sure to eat enough to fuel your activity. If you’re tracking your calories, make sure you never go below 1200 a day.

So what should you eat and how often? I’ve posted my daily diet before…and how often is entirely up to you. You can find information on eating every 3 hours, every four hours, not eating after 7pm, intermittent fasting, seriously, the list goes on and on and on. I recommend eating when you’re hungry. Let’s keep things simple =) 

 

So–please promise me–you will eat! No more crash dieting.
