
I often hear people say that they just don’t have TIME to eat healthy. To me, that’s an excuse. I don’t like excuses š
BUT I figured some people might just not KNOW any better. So I’ve come up with a list of super fast, healthy meals that you can make in under 5 minutes =)
Overnight Oats-grab and go breakfast!
Hardboiled eggs with a piece of fruit
Shakeology (this one is a non negotiable 1 minute lunch that I have EVERY single day)
Whole grain wrap with almond butter and a banana
Whole grain wrap with hummus, tomatoes and spinach
Salad with tuna, feta cheese and olive oil
Grilled chicken, avocado, salsa, lettuce (taco salad!)
Omelet with spinach, tomato, black beans
Salad with tempeh, hummus and roasted veggies
Quinoa with black beans, salsa, avocado and a little cumin and chili powder
Scrambled eggs with toast and avocado
Fruit salad with raw walnuts
Greek yogurt with strawberries and walnuts
Omelet with beans and avocado
Whole grain toast smeared with avocado
Greek yogurt and peanut butter
TIPS:
Prep your food! Cook enough chicken breasts to last you all week. Chop up your veggies for salads so you just have to throw them together and eat! Cook enough brown rice or quinoa to last you all week! I love roasting veggies. I buy bags of frozen veggies, throw them in the oven with a little olive oil and himalayan salt, and cook at 425 for 30 minutes or so. You can easily make enough for the whole week so you just have to reheat!
Have healthy options like hummus, greek yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, almond butter, etc. readily accessible so you just have to grab and go!
There are lots of ways you can plan your meals ahead of time so you don’t have to spend all day cooking!
