Something that a LOT of people overlook when they’re trying to lose weight are the calories from their daily beverages. Those calories can add up—FAST and can be a reason why you are stuck. Plus, liquid calories are often not as satisfying as actual FOOD!
The average American consumes about 400 liquid calories a DAY! Woah! Soda is one that most people know isn’t good for them…but what about fruit juice? Fruit juice still has a ton of calories in it (as much, if not more than soda), has a ton of sugar, and doesn’t fill you up the way the whole fruit does. Eat the fruit instead!
Let’s take a look at some typical beverages a person may consume in a day and their calorie counts.

What about you? Have you given up liquid calories?
