Some people really don’t enjoy working out. I say those are the people who haven’t found their soulmate workout. The one that gets them REALLY excited. They see results and feel it working, AND they have fun doing it. Working out should NOT be a chore. It should be something you enjoy! If you’re not enjoying it, you’re not going to stick with it longterm.
What is my soulmate workout? I enjoy a lot of different workouts, but I think my favorite is Les Mills Pump. There is an energy with the music, the instructors, and the crazy feeling I get towards the end of the track when my body starts shaking and I KNOW I’m getting stronger. I finish the workout feeling good and strong! I know that I worked my butt off, but I look forward to the next workout when I can do it again!
I’ve been doing Les Mills Pump throughout my pregnancy because it’s pretty easy to make it lower impact and lower intensity, especially now that I’m 32 weeks!
I plan on doing it after I have the baby since it starts out pretty light and easy (relatively).
