3 Tips To Detox After ThanksgivingIf you are hurting the day after Thanksgiving, you aren’t alone!
Most of us ate our fill of stuffing, candied potatoes, and mashed potatoes loaded with gravy, and washed it down with some wine and ate enough pie until we couldn’t move.

Did you?

It might have been worth it in the moment (hello, Thanksgiving food IS delicious), but that bloated belly and hungover feeling is probably making you wish you had some kind of a post thanksgiving detox you could follow.

The GOOD news is that you don’t have to do a hard core cleanse, like a juice only cleanse since our bodies are super efficient at cleaning ourselves, but there ARE a few things you can do to detox after a Thanksgiving feast

3 Tips to Detox after Thanksgiving

Tip #1 to Detox after Thanksgiving: Drink Water!

Your liver and kidneys are working hard to filter your blood, so consuming enough water is crucial to keep things moving! Start your day with at least 16 ounces of water and drink ALL DAY!

Tip #2 to Detox after Thanksgiving: Exercise!

Your body needs to MOVE!! Go for a walk, do a home workout program, dance with your kids, do something that gets your blood flowing.

Tip #3 to Detox after Thanksgiving: Focus on eating raw fruits and veggies!

Have a fruit smoothie for breakfast with a scoop of protein powder (I like this one), have a big salad for lunch with some left over turkey, and fresh steamed veggies with a lean protein for dinner (maybe more turkey, lol!)
