wagon Having an all or nothing approach to your nutrition doesn’t work–or at least in my experience it truly sets people up for failure.

When you want to have a glass of wine or a piece of birthday cake, you feel like you’re cheating, and then guilty thoughts come in. As well as doubt–I’ll never be able to do this, it’s too hard, I don’t have any willpower.

Sound familiar?

Eat the treats! Yes, I’m telling you to eat the cake, drink the wine, have whatever it is that you want. Enjoy it! I swear the less restrictions you put on yourself, the easier it will be to lose weight.

Almost every day I have some kind of treat–a cake pop from Starbucks, a glass of wine, or whatever I feel like. I don’t feel guilty about it–because the portion wasn’t huge, and usually, the rest of my day is healthy.

When you restrict certain foods, that’s when binging happens! So I give you permission to eat what you want (in moderation) and enjoy!
