I just cleaned everrrrything and it feels SO GOOD. Now I need to lock the door so my boys don’t ruin it LOL.
Anyways, I wanted to share a few examples of the food I eat each day, and also some of the not so healthy stuff I eat.
Healthy stuff that I love:
Omelet that I cooked in REAL butter with gruyère cheese. Don’t fear fat—it keeps you full =)

These magical chicken apple sausages from Applegate (find some near you here) with avocado and broccoli. I ALWAYS eat protein with my meals. Protein will keep you fuller than any other macronutrient.

So here’s the not so healthy stuff I’ve had this week! Dude, I’m human! And I’ll tell you that having an all or nothing mentality when it comes to your nutrition will set you up for failure!
They had a lunch special at this little café, so for $13, I got THIS. It was magical.

and this too. No joke when I was eating this I had Chandler in my mind (you know the episode with the CHEESECAKE) “I’m full, but I know if I stop eating, I’ll regret it.”

I am OBSESSED with cappuccinos. In France, most of the time they come with whipped cream! So I’ve gotten pretty used to saying ‘sans chantilly’ (without whipped cream), but forgot yesterday. Oops. I took one for the team haha.

So yes, I drink wine, eat chocolate, and bien sûr, I eat cheese and quiche. I AM in France after all!
The key is balance. I’ll limit these ‘treats’ to 2-3x/week. The rest of the time I eat healthy =) And I keep the treats out of the house! If they’re at home, I’m more likely to eat them ALL THE TIME.
Ok I do have a few exceptions—I keep wine and cheese in the house. Because France. Because Cheese. And Wine.
Do you struggle with balance or an all or nothing mentality when it comes to eating healthy? If so, you need to apply for my Love Yourself Challenge.
