Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie

It is HOT here in Florida…so I’ll be mak­ing a lot of pro­tein smooth­ies to fuel up, stay cool, and save time. With a new­born, I don’t have a lot of time to eat, let alone cook! Enter: the pro­tein smoothie. This is one of my favorite recipes…try it out!

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup almond milk
  2. 1 scoop choco­late pro­tein powder
  3. 1–2 tbs cacao pow­der (depend­ing on how choco­latey you want it)
  4. 1/2 tsp cacao nibs
  5. Cou­ple of drops of liq­uid ste­via (or another sweet­ener to taste)
  6. 1/4 tsp xan­than gum (to thicken)
  7. Ice to taste
Instructions
  1. Add all ingre­di­ents except cacao nibs into blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add cacao nibs and blend on low until com­bined.
  3. Enjoy!
Notes
  1. You can use 1 scoop of Choco­late Shake­ol­ogy and omit the pro­tein pow­der, cacao, ste­via and xan­than gum
