Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie

It is HOT here in Florida…so I’ll be making a lot of protein smoothies to fuel up, stay cool, and save time. With a newborn, I don’t have a lot of time to eat, let alone cook! Enter: the protein smoothie. This is one of my favorite recipes…try it out!

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1–2 tbs cacao powder (depending on how chocolatey you want it)
- 1/2 tsp cacao nibs
- Couple of drops of liquid stevia (or another sweetener to taste)
- 1/4 tsp xanthan gum (to thicken)
- Ice to taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except cacao nibs into blender and blend until smooth.
- Add cacao nibs and blend on low until combined.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- You can use 1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology and omit the protein powder, cacao, stevia and xanthan gum
