It’s true!!! ESPECIALLY when it comes to weight loss!!
Our society does NOT make it easy to be healthy. It’s no wonder 2/3 of the population is overweight or obese—there’s fast food on every corner and gas station snacks are filled with sugar and crap!
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! If you’re going to leave the house, you need to have a strategy in place. If you’re just going to wing it and pick up whatever you want when you get hungry, you’re going to grab something unhealthy!
Here are my top strategies for making sure you plan for weight loss success.
1. ALWAYS bring food with you. You will never catch me with a protein bar, an apple, or almonds in my purse. I always have these things with me—just in case!
2. If you know you’re going to be gone for several hours, pack a cooler! Fill it with hard boiled eggs, hummus, cut up veggies, greek yogurt, fruit, etc.
3. Check out different restaurants in the area and look at their menu online. Most chain restaurants have their nutritional information online these days—making it even easier for you to make healthier choices!
4. Know where you can grab healthy food in a pinch. I love hitting up Starbucks if I need a healthy meal on the run. The protein plate or the cheese plate is super yummy, healthy, AND will fill you up. Score!
