Are the naturally slim really slim because of genetics, or is it the habits that they’ve learned from their family that keep them thin without every having to worry about their weight? I’d like to say it’s a combination of the two. Those who are naturally slim definitely have different habits.
Here are five habits of naturally slim people. Try to adopt some of these habits and you can be naturally slim too =)
1. Eat without distractions. Turn off the TV. Put away your iPhone. Don’t eat while standing, on the phone, or in your car. Sit down to the table and actually take the time to enjoy your meal! Naturally slim people eat what they want to eat–and they really enjoy it!
2. MOVE! Take the stairs, walk while you’re on the phone, look for little ways to add exercise into your day. Naturally slim people aren’t sitting on their booties all day long.
3. Don’t finish their food. This goes back to number 1. If you enjoy your food and take the time to sit down and really taste it, you can be satisfied with less, and you’ll be more in tune with your hunger. Naturally thin people are not a part of the clean plate club.
4. Eat only food they REALLY want. Naturally thin people won’t eat things that help them lose weight if it tastes like crap. They take the time to think about what their body truly craves and they eat that. No rice cakes, fat free/sugar free/chemical crap. Real, yummy, food.
5. Don’t obsess about food. Naturally slim people aren’t always thinking about food and their weight. They eat when they’re hungry and don’t think about it when they’re not.
