Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

I love love love protein smoothies!!! I’ve been having them since I was a senior in high school.  After every workout, I have a protein smoothie.  It’s a part of my routine.  It’s the best way I can get nutrients to my body after a workout, and they taste yummy–that is if you can make them the right way! I like mixing up my smoothies, and today I made a peanut butter protein smoothie.  Ooooo it was GOOD!  You can have this as a snack too, it doesn’t have to be after a workout.

Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

1 cup almond milk

1 scoop Sunwarrior Protein Powder

2 tbs pb2 (or peanut butter)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Dash of cinnamon

1/2 tsp xanthan or guar gum

 

Optional Ingredients: banana, cacao nibs

 

Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
